Coach Nick Goodman, a Greece native and Odyssey Academy graduate (Class of 2021), has been connected to the local hockey community from a young age. He started playing at age 8 and continued through his youth with Monroe County before joining the Greece Storm as one of the team’s goaltenders throughout all four years of high school.

Since graduating, Coach Goodman has stayed involved in the game through coaching. For the past several years, he has worked with youth players at Lakeshore Hockey Academy, focusing on skill development. Alongside this, he has also specialized in goaltending instruction through Brick Wall Goaltending, helping young goalies improve their technique and build confidence.

Coach Goodman’s passion for the game drives his commitment to mentoring the next generation of players. His coaching philosophy focuses on developing both hockey skills and life skills—instilling values like hard work, respect, teamwork, and discipline. Whether on the ice or off, he aims to help players grow into well-rounded individuals with a lasting love for the sport.
